Trust Me, I'm Paying For It

I apologize that it's really no less depressing than my last deviation. -///- But hey, at least it's colored art.

This was a sketch that was hanging around in My Pictures for quite some time. It's based on a dream I had, though the image itself was never in the dream. Here's a detailed account of the dream: [link] Basically, it was an improbable, out-of-the-blue nightmare that ~InvaderNeek got astonishingly angry at me for something stupid I did and just sort of... left me. Refused to let me apologize. It was devastating, and it's left me with a strange irrational fear of her abandoning me ever since. But I'm honestly really glad I had it. It enlightened me to how much I really need her.

So anyway, onto the art. I actually did most of this in Easy Paint Tool SAI, which I just downloaded recently and have been playing with a bit. It lives up to its name, it's pretty easy. I think I'll use it a lot. I still need to cure my fear of dark shading. I did do some of the extra stuff in GIMP.

The key around my neck in the picture is half of a pair of friendship necklaces, of which she has the other.

Oh yeah, so this is supposed to be me. XD But entirely blue... And the lyrics and title are from Dancing With Tears in My Eyes by Ke$ha.
