Hey everybody - merry Christmas! This is a historical APH parody of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer that I've had rolling around in my head for some time now. I plan on recording it and sticking it in a YouTube video with some illustrations eventually, but for now, since I have no Christmas art to post, I figured I'd stick the lyrics on dA. I had a lot of fun with this. cx But anyway, it's about German Unification in the late 1800's. ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/German_u… ) Also, you can thank firefly734 for that "Grr!" in the shout-backs. XD

Without further ado~!

Germany the broken-up country (Country!)
Was a bunch of independent states (Like a puzzle!)
And if you ever saw them (Saw them!)
You would say they weren't that great (Like a fruitcake!)

All of the other nations (Nations!)
Used to laugh and call him names (Like sauerkraut!)
They never let poor Germany (Germany!)
Join in any nation games (Like imperialism!)

Then in 1862, Bismarck came to say (Blood and iron!)
Germany with your states so small,
Join them together, one and all!

Then all the nations feared him (Feared him!)
And they shouted angrily (Grrr~!)
Germany the broken-up country (Country!)
Stay the heck away frooooom me~!

I didn't know all this stuff about Germany, but this was still an amusing parody nonetheless.  Very creative, and pretty funny considering the subject matter.  Peace.
